Best Place for Working Parents (BP4WP)

The Best Place for Working Parents® is a growing national network of business leaders proving that family-friendly IS business-friendly.  Originating in Fort Worth, Texas, The Best Place for Working Parents® seeks to support businesses with research-backed strategies that benefit working parents AND businesses’ bottom line. 

Hoosier Milestones (HM) is supporting coalitions throughout the state of Indiana with tools to bring BP4WP to their area!

Here are some key pieces of the toolkit:

• Press Release Folder: HM will send the press release to statewide media on September 10. We request that coalitions send it out to their local media on September 11. You can download the press release and customize it for your region/county. For the launch, use the bp4wp-press-release-indiana_2026 file.

  • This folder also contains a second press release template, to celebrate a local employer that has achieved the designation.

• Launch Calendar Folder: Details dates to send out Promo Email and Social Media posts.

  • For emails, this document offers subject lines and teaser copy.

  • For social media posts, the document has suggested captions. In addition, it includes the hastag we request you use with each social post, as well as Canva Templates that you can copy and add your logo to as you are posting locally.

• Promo Emails: This folder provides templates for each email.

• Social Media: This folder contains social media posts with the HM logo added on. If you prefer not to use Canva, you can download these images and add your own logo. 

Other Folders:

• Custom Award Badges: Indiana-specific badges that can be used for promotion as needed.

• Indiana Logos: The national BP4WP logo customized for Indiana.

• Promo Flyer: An Indiana-branded document that can be printed and given to business leaders.

• Presentation: A presentation template you can use when you present BP4WP to business leaders.

• Roundtable: A discussion guide for table talks about BP4WP.
