Christine Waters has served children and families for over 20 years as a teacher, assistant director, and systems leader. She now leads the Bartholomew County Early Learning Coalition as the program's early learning manager. She's a full-time Ivy Tech Columbus employee "working on loan" to the coalition.
As the community wide early learning manager, Christine leads the coalition in its mission to ensure that affordable, high-quality early learning is available to all families, creating a path to academic success and lifetime social emotional wellness.
Previously she was the Director of Child Care Resource and Referral at Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, Oregon. In that role she aided in design and implementation of systems level programming including universal preschool, infant-toddler subsidy programs, and community-wide early childhood coaching.
Christine holds a BS in Early Childhood Education and a MS in Education Foundation, Policy & Administration.
